one thing on their minds this week. >> jim harbaugh did did not want to talk about much else other than the atlanta falcons. in his first press conference leading up to the nfc championship, and that's completely understandable. as atlanta is a team harbaugh has yet to face as a 49ers head coach. >> that's the relevant thing is, you know, preparing for the atlanta falcons defense. they do an excellent job, getting to know them is, you know, that's where our focus is. we haven't played them. it's a task, a challenge to understand what they're doing. >> reporter: offensively they have three of the league's top 20 receivers, tony gonzalez, roddy white and jones. white alone has 18 captains for 369 yards and two touchdowns and three career games and three wins against the 49ers. >> they put together a tremendous, tremendous receiving unit. you can't pay too much attention to just one guy because several can hurt you. and they're good. they're coming off of the game that gives them a lot of momentum but solid in every regard. show that they could run the ball against a very good run def

'm impressed. that was pretty cool. jim harbaugh having colin kaepernick at quarterback this year. in it last saturday's game against the green bay packers the 49ers' quarterback proved the naysayers were very, very wrong. kaepernick 444 yards on offense, 181 of those on the ground, setting the record for most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single game. kaepernick is clearly in phenomenal condition. he says it's not because of his diet. >> never been a big nutrition guy. for me if i work out enough, i feel like i'm going to be all right. >> you still do fast food even in the nfl? >> not so metropolitan mcdonald's anymore but i eat my fast food. >> what's your favorite? >> i eat a lot of five guys right now. >> look at that. they can eat anything. randy moss caught passes for 25 yards and some 30 passes in the regular season. that doesn't mean head coach jim harbaugh won't want his special receiver back next year. >> for official publication i want randy to come back. i hope he feels the same way. >> one side note the niners cut cundiff so it will be akers the rest of the way for the 49er

on the 49ers bandwagon by now, you better get a running start and hop on. jim harbaugh has this man in the nfc championship game for the second-straight season. they're rolling right now, including colin kaepernick. one of the reasons for the success, is the play of the second-year quarterback, who landed on this week's cover of "sports illustrated." but as mindi bach reports, game planning for kaepernick's counterparts may be a team's toughest challenge. >> matt ryan is a pocket passer. colin kaepernick had 40 more rushing yards in his one playoff game than ryan had in his 16 regular season games combined. when it gets to getting to ryan in the pocket, that's the challenge for the 49ers front seven. >> he's smart. he knows where we want to go with the ball. he knows the offense. he's been in it for a good amount of years. you know, he knows what he wants to do with the ball. >> reporter: with 2 1,000-yard receivers and a hall of fame tight end to target, the true pressure on ryan will have to come from the backfield. the players say they need to have a better outing this sunday tha
